Episode 1

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head for the Isle of Man to decide which is best: the new baby Aston Martin - the V8 Vantage, BMW M6 or Porsche 911 Carrera S. A Supercar - the Ascari KZ1 - takes to the track and the star in a reasonably priced car is Trevor Eve (Waking The Dead).

Episode 2

Jeremy Clarkson tests the new Porsche Cayman S, James May and Richard Hammond test the best boys toys in the world, and the Audi RS4 competes with a speed climber in the Verdon Gorge. The star in the reasonably priced car is footballer Ian Wright.

Episode 3

Jeremy, Richard and James drive three supercars through France to the Millau bridge, Jeremy test-drives the new Ford Focus, and Dr Stephen Ladyman MP, UK Minister of State for Transport, is the star in the reasonably priced car.

Episode 4

Can you buy a decent mid-engined Italian supercar for under £10,000? The new Pagani Zonda F takes to the track, and record-breaking yachtswoman Ellen MacArthur is the star in a reasonably priced car.

Episode 5

Jeremy (driving the new Bugatti Veyron) races James and Richard (in a plane) from Alba in northern Italy to the top of the NatWest Tower in London. Richard also tests the new Marcos on the Top Gear track. The star in a reasonably priced car is Nigel Mansell.

Episode 6

Is Jeremy driving faster in real life or on a computer game? What will break first at sub-zero temperatures: a car or Richard Hammond? And the star in a reasonably priced car is David Walliams (Little Britain).

Episode 7(The Challenges)

Setting out to buy a decent mid-engined Italian supercar for under £10,000, Jeremy, Richard and James each buy a supercar priced within budget and drive them from Bristol to Slough, facing various challenges along the way. A wig-wearer named Barry volunteers to be a passenger in a convertible test. Jeremy pits a Range Rover Sport against a Challenger II tank in a race. What is faster in a race through the streets of Lisbon - a mountain bike or a car?

Episode 8

A race from Alba in northern Italy to the top of the Nat West Tower in London featuring Jeremy driving the new Bugatti Veyron versus James and Richard in a plane (piloted by James) as far as Lille, then as Eusostar train passengers to London. James tests the Mazarati Bora and Richard joins the bull-running in Pamploma and tests the Lamborghini.

Episode 9

Review of the best bits of the last series. Jeremy in the new Audi RS4 races a speed climber. Sabine Schmidt attempts to drive the Ford Transit van around the Nurburgring in under 10 minutes. Jeremy tests the new Boxster and SLK by driving them round a deserted village while being shot at by the Irish Guards. Stig tests the new Aston Martin Vanquish and Ferrari 575 on the track with the help of star comedian Steve Coogan (I'm Alan Partridge). Comedian and former lapboard leader Jimmy Carr takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Top Gear studio and test track.
